Topps and Premier League Announce First Products of New Deal

opps have announced the brand’s return as a licensee of the Premier League with Topps Premier League 2025/26 Trading Cards.  The innovative product looks to deliver incredible excitement in every pack and provide fans with the ultimate collector experience. Sets will initially be available in three waves: Aug. 7 (UK retail launch), Aug. 21 (international and EU retail) and Sept. 17 (hobby box).

Topps Premier League Trading Cards 2025/26 is a stand-alone collection that lives outside of Topps’ popular Match Attax offering. Players from all 20 clubs will be represented, seen in all-new 2025/26 kits – and sets will feature both legends and current players. In addition, there are more autographs than ever before – as well as an extensive parallel program, including 15 colour variations across unnumbered and numbered parallels from /499 to the /1. Beyond the three main offerings detailed above: Countdown Calendar Exclusive (Sept. 25) and the First-Ever Golden Boot Tin (Oct. 2).  

Some highlighted cards in the sets include:

Rookie Cards: rookie cards refer to a player’s first trading card, which includes a special RC logo.  These cards are among the most desired by collectors.

Chrome King Legend Cards: Topps’ premium Chrome technology has been used for the Chrome King Legend cards, featuring top players from the past.  Ultra-rare parallels, sequentially numbered and genuine autograph versions can also be found.

Gold Lion (Semi Rare): printed on shiny gold foil with the Premier League Lion logo, these cards feature select players and come with a liquid-silver finish to deliver a truly stunning effect.

Premier Pull Cards (Mega Rare): providing a rare mini-chase set, these high-end cards include a top-class line-up of current players and all-time Premier League legends.

Autograph Cards (Super Rare): this set delivers autograph cards at an incredible rate, with ultra-rare parallel versions as well.

Diamond Rookie Cards (Ultra Rare): short prints that carry the RC logo and reserved for just 10 of the most exciting rookie prospects in the 2025/26 Premier League season.

Additional uncommon inserts: Perfect Storm, Heat Vision, Home Advantage, Headliner, Pro Precision and Beast Mode.
